Ha! I was still too fast to publish.

Now ÖVP leader and current Chancellor Nehammer is stepping down.

I suppose this now makes way the ÖVP to partner up with FPÖ post new election, what Nehammer personally said he would not do (my two cents).

„this genuinely surprised me, especially since Trump didn’t start any wars during his first presidency”

Really? That claim is just meaningless nonsense that the Trump camp likes to spread. Sure, it’s literally true, just as it’s true that Biden didn’t start any wars either. For that matter, neither did Obama. But Trump was actually very aggressive when he was President - he had an Iranian top official killed, which could have easily been seen as an act of war, he encouraged Israeli and Saudi aggression, and he apparently was considering war with North Korea until he reversed course. The man has no isolationist or pacifist principles- he’s purely transactional. If he thinks a U.S. attack on someone will make him look good, he’ll do it. Remember this is the guy who once said our mistake in Iraq was not seizing the oil fields for ourselves.

Romania is country who brings you through tourism 1-2 billion $ annually, and yet there is not a day someone from Austria, native or not, not to make snarky remarks such as "there are more dogs on the road than cars". For sure there are no dogs paying for sky lodging in Austria, but the Romanians are. Shame on you. I am totally disappointed in you!

I spend a lot of time in Bucharest. It’s a very pleasant city to hang out in these days. The problem isn’t stray dogs, it’s the ridiculous traffic.
