I love your long posts. There is something very special about the way you combine first-hand reporting of the refugee situation with curated sources of information that I would not find on my own. I will read it every word, and very much appreciate your beautiful writing.

Good morning from the States. I get what hubby is saying, but as you comment, writing is cathartic; the same applies to this reader. It is an outlet for my feelings of helplessness. Good luck tomorrow; I await your report, no matter how short or long it is. --christopher

Oh, Tanya, you are doing more good than you can imagine. Thank you for sharing everything you learn from the Ukraine war and the expanding difficulties of the Ukrainian people as they run for their lives. Here in the states we get fairly whitewashed news that borders on sensationalism. You are a hero for doing everything you can to help while also raising a family. I say to those who think your posts are “too long”: stop reading! I applaud you for your kindnesses, your intelligence (c’mon Austria….jump on the technology train!) and your command of language and communication skills. Never give up, never surrender! Peggy
